‘Bob Marley One Love Experience’ Exhibition Opens In Toronto

The Bob Marley One Love Experience exhibition, which made its global debut in London earlier this year, will open in Toronto in July.

The immersive exhibit features original art, music, photos, memorabilia, and more, taking fans into Marley’s personal journey, lifestyles, passions, influences, and enduring legacy. Set over six rooms, the experience honors the icon with monuments to his many achievements and giant art installations.

The “One Love Forest” shares a multi-sensory experience, while the “Soul Shakedown Studio” offers a live listening experience of Marley’s celebrated catalog. “The Next Gen Room,” meanwhile, looks at the star’s family and how his legacy is living on through the generations following his.

Bob Marley One Love Experience will make its North American debut in Toronto, opening at the city’s Lighthouse Immersive Artspace on July 1. The exhibition is presented by the Marley family in conjunction with Terrapin Station Entertainment and Lighthouse Immersive, plus support from the Toronto Caribbean Carnival.

Cedella Marley, CEO of Bob Marley Group of Companies, said: “We’ve had an incredible run in London—it has been so heartwarming to see how much Dad still means to so many and how much fans are enjoying the exhibit. Toronto feels like the perfect place to make our first North American stop. Dad loved playing here and there is an incredible Caribbean community and reggae scene in the city.”

The exhibition will run for 10 weeks, ending on September 11. Tickets will go on sale on May 19 – more information can be found here.

In February, Marley’s family marked what would have been his 77th birthday with seven special events held over seven days, celebrating his life, legacy, and music. The events were curated to give back to the community in his home country of Jamaica, including a Back To Our Roots beach cleanup and concert and a newly-curated exhibition at the Bob Marley Museum, featuring the work of young, up-and-coming artists.
